Baby Café Bakersfield is a non-profit organization which offers free assistance and education to parents facing challenges providing breastmilk to their infants.

They are staffed with International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLC) and health professionals, and Certified lactation educators.            

Open to all pregnant and current lactating and/or pumping parents, including those who are supplementing with infant formula.

The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) helps individuals who are pregnant or just had a baby, and children up to age 5 eat well, be active and stay healthy. 

WIC welcomes partners, grandparents, foster parents, or guardians who care for eligible children. WIC services are provided at no cost to you.

 La Leche League International (LLLI), is a non-profit organization, LLL Leaders are volunteer breastfeeding counsellors who have nursed their own children, are passionate about the value of human milk and provide support in their communities. Leaders may offer information and resources in-person and by phone, text, email, and social media. Leaders may run a local group and moderate mother-to-mother/parent-to-parent meetings.
